At Beach Fit Now Bootcamps, we believe that our miraculous bodies must be fortified and will function optimally with a plant based, lean protein, Whole Nutrition emphasized diet. We strongly encourage our clients to seek out organic nutrient-dense whole foods. A Mediterranean based diet that focuses on a variety of complex carbohydrates (high fiber), like brightly colored fruits and vegetables, legumes and whole grains, plus lean proteins, like fish and chicken and healthy fats, like olive oil, will Optimize Health. A healthy body can fight disease, prevent premature aging, enhance energy, mood and overall performance.

Throughout bootcamp you will receive informational emails, handouts and reading recommendations that will provide practical strategies, tips and solid guidance to help you make healthy, whole foods, life-affirming choices.
PRE WORKOUT
IMPORTANT! You must Hydrate and Fuel your body before class:
- Drink a minimum of 16 oz of water 30–60 min before class
- Eat foods containing complex carbohydrates and lean protein 30–60 min before your class.
Some Optimal Health food choices may include:
- Whole Oatmeal with sliced fresh organic fruit, home toasted walnuts or pecans, cinnamon or pumpkin spice, chia seeds and a dash of honey with almond milk
- A slice of whole wheat, multi-grain or Ezekiel sprouted cinnamon raisin toast with organic freshly ground almond butter and sliced fresh organic fruit sprinkled with chia seeds and pumpkin seeds
- 3 Eggs/egg whites with salsa, whole grain toast, small fruit serving sprinkled with chia seeds and pumpkin seeds
- Healthy whole grain cereal with fruit added sprinkled with chia seeds and pumpkin seeds
- Whole wheat toast w/ organic freshly ground peanut butter and yogurt w/ fruit sprinkled with chia seeds and pumpkin seeds or granola
- Turkey or chicken on whole grain bread with lettuce & tomato. Add sprouts, olives,hummus or avocado with a splash of extra virgin olive oil
- Hemp Protein smoothie with water, 1/2 cup of oats, wheat grass, blueberries, shaved coconut flakes, banana, chia seeds and acai juice
- Apple slices with cheddar cheese, almond butter or other organic nut butter
- Whole grain crackers with hummus
- Tuna on whole wheat crackers and chia seeds
- Light multi-grain English muffin with nut butter, honey and sliced banana
Proper nutrition and hydration is necessary for optimal health and fitness!
Post Workout
First and foremost consume plenty of water to rehydrate.
Meals or Healthy snacks within 60 min of exercise may include:
- Any of the above pre workout choices
- Grilled salmon, brown rice, steamed veggies, large green salad w/ a variety brightly colored vegetables and hummus w/ chia seeds
Remember, eating more often in smaller amounts will help speed up your metabolism which in-turn will help you lose unwanted weight.
If you starve yourself your body will store more fat, your metabolism will slow down, and yes… you will gain weight!
